A one act play adapted from the second day/second story of Boccaccio’s Decameron. Rinaldo and his servant are travelling to the city to sell his wares, but on the way he is set upon by thieves, who take everything including most of his clothes. Distraught, cold, and locked out of the city gates, he has hit the bottom, but little does he know there is a surprise waiting for him inside the city gates.
